A strange dream about a hotel got me thinking about how much tech has changed. There was a time when buying software or a game meant you actually owned it. You paid once, installed it, and that was that. Now everything feels temporary, subscription-based, and never quite finished.
This episode isn’t anti-tech. It’s more about noticing what we’ve accepted as normal - how ownership turned into access, and access turned into subscription. Maybe there’s a better balance out there somewhere, if we stop to look for it.
